About the Event

Bio-luminescence is light produced or emitted by organisms through biochemical reactions. The organisms that light up our waters are called Dinoflagellates. Dinoflagellates are plankton that photosynthesize to build energy to illuminate bio-luminescent light. 

 This phenomenon is best observed during the months of June-October. However, with all things nature, this is subject to change. When booking, try to book your tour on an evening near the new moon. Check your moon phases here:
